Product details
The leaf of the silver maple (Acer saccharinum) is impressive and versatile: its slender, coarsely serrated lobes and deep notches give it a distinctive outline. Upon closer inspection, one can see that it is bright green on one side and silvery-white on the other. These features make the silver maple easily recognizable, and they are artfully depicted on this 10 oz coin made of 99.99% silver, which features faceted engravings for a striking effect. Starting from the stem, the angled lines form peaks and valleys that reflect light in an extraordinary way within each leaf—especially in the top leaf, which is enhanced with rose gold plating, giving it a beautiful, delicate shimmer. A subtle shine, a modern aesthetic—a fascinating tribute to the maple. This exceptional silver coin is minted in Proof quality and is delivered in a coin case with a numbered certificate of authenticity. The Proof (PP) quality is particularly sought after by collectors and is among the most elaborate manufacturing processes for a coin. The worldwide mintage of this exclusive silver coin is just 1,200 pieces. The design side, created by Canadian artist Michelle Grant, features an overlapping arrangement of three silver maple leaves that come to life through faceted engravings. Precisely angled lines rise and fall within the leaf shapes, like multiple mirrors reflecting brilliant light in different directions. The top leaf is additionally enhanced with rose gold plating, which also adds color to the edge of the coin on both sides. King Charles III is depicted on the value side through a portrait by Canadian artist Steven Rosati. Additionally, the value side displays the denomination "100 DOLLARS" as well as the minting year "2025.".
