Product details
This silver coin from the popular coin series Deadly & Dangerous is dedicated to the Australian Tiger Snake. It is a species of snake native to Australia and is known worldwide for its distinctive appearance and adaptability. Its slender body is adorned with striking black and yellow stripes, providing excellent camouflage in its natural habitat. Despite its venomous nature, it is a shy animal that typically avoids contact with humans and only attacks when provoked. These snakes prefer habitats near water sources such as rivers and wetlands. Their ability to survive in various environments and their important role in maintaining ecological balance underscore their significance to Australian wildlife. The polished plate (PP) is particularly sought after by collectors and is among the most elaborate manufacturing processes for a coin. The coin is strictly limited to 2,500 pieces worldwide and comes in the original coin case with a numbered certificate of authenticity. The design side features a highly detailed and colorful depiction of the Tiger Snake. The snake is shown in a dynamic pose with its head raised and mouth open. The distinctive black and yellow bands of the snake are vividly and intricately rendered. In the background, there is a stylized representation of the Australian landscape, reflecting the snake's natural habitat. The reverse side displays a profile portrait of King Charles III, looking to the left. At the top edge of the coin, the inscription reads "KING CHARLES III" and "TUVALU," while the bottom side features the fine weight and purity "1 oz 9999 AG," along with the year of issue and face value "2025 1 DOLLAR.".
