The South African coin "Silver Rhino 1000 g - Big Five Series II - 2022" is produced by the South African Mint. This coin is the third release in the new "Big Five II" coin series. The so-called "Big Five" includes the elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. All of these fascinating animals symbolize the African wildlife. The South African Mint has come up with something special for this coin: when two coins are placed side by side, a complete close-up portrait of an elephant is formed. If you add several of these coins next to each other, an entire herd of elephants can be seen. The design of the coin features an adult rhino with its prominent horns, which grow from the nasal bone.
