Made from full-grain leather and hand-stitched, the Penny Loafer can be worn year-round. The upper material of the shoe is made from unlined leather, the sole is made of molded rubber, and the treatment of the natural leather sole ensures durability, flexibility, and water resistance.

The Dan moccasins pay tribute to the founders of the Sebago brand. The Dan moccasin is the most iconic among the Penny Loafers, with a history that dates back far, as moccasins are considered the first shoes of humanity, inspired by the footwear of the indigenous peoples of the state of Maine.

The first moccasins were hand-stitched using the "Beef Roll" technique, characterized by the small quilting around the forefoot, which is so typical of moccasins and is still hand-stitched by the best artisans today.
