The Riff brown eco by Scott is a pair of sunglasses that takes responsibility for the environment. It is a re-source product from Scott – the frame is made from recycled nylon sourced from nylon waste, such as fishing nets, fabric scraps, and carpets. The lenses are made from bionylon, and the Riff also comes with a case made from recycled materials. When the sun shines brightly, the Riff lenses come into play. Bright, strong light contains extremely intense blue light. This specific, high-intensity light is responsible for eye fatigue and can even be dangerous with frequent exposure. The brown eco (Sun) lenses were designed to filter out as many of these blue rays as possible while retaining the rays that provide contrast and clarity.
