Saphir Médaille d'Or Wax Pâte de luxe 1925

The glazing paste was specially developed for leather and consists of a complex blend based on turpentine, beeswax, carnauba wax, and six other waxes with nourishing, protective, softening, and gloss-enhancing properties. The pigments were selected based on their color strength, penetration ability, and transparency, allowing for the creation of an unusual patina by applying different shades to the same leather.
