Samsonite was founded in 1910 by Jesse Shwayder in Denver, starting with the production of heavy wooden trunks. The company was later renamed Shwayder Brothers, Inc. In 1941, it launched the Samsonite Streamline, a suitcase-like piece of luggage, which led to the development of the brand we know today. Samsonite has become a household name for customers, resulting in another name change. The wide range includes suitcases, travel bags, backpacks, laptop bags, and other travel accessories. This product and/or its packaging are made from recycled materials. Parts of it are produced from recycled raw materials, which is more environmentally friendly as the raw materials do not need to be newly sourced with high effort. Yogurt cups, single-use bottles, plastic waste, and film packaging are incorporated into the manufacturing process through recycling.
