Aerogels, derived from the aerospace industry, are highly porous, low-density structures composed primarily of air, providing an excellent volume/weight/thermal performance ratio.

On the top of the hand, the windproof GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® Soft Shell Elastic fabric serves as a reliable barrier against icy winds. To retain warmth, the Villach 2 is equipped with a long knit cuff and a stretch wrist strap. The elastic and breathable ROECK-GRIP® synthetic skin on the palm ensures a non-slip, tactical, and comfortable grip on the handlebars.
