The heel-less construction is characteristic of these sandals. The Reima Barefoot concept aims to preserve the natural walking motion of children. Therefore, the heel and forefoot areas are at the same height, allowing children's feet to roll as they would when walking barefoot. The wide toe area also plays an important role, providing enough space for intuitive movement.
