4 modes: 100% light, 60% light, 30% light, and strobe. A short press of the button switches to 60% brightness. Pressing again switches to 30% brightness, and another press changes to strobe mode. Pressing once more turns it off. However, if you hold the button down for about 3 seconds, it will switch to 100% bright mode. If you hold it down again, it will turn off immediately.
