100% recycled sunglasses. The ISLA frame is made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), a type of plastic commonly found in beverage containers and textiles. At Parafina, we recycle PET sourced from uncontrolled landfills to prevent it from reaching the ocean. The ISLA sunglasses are characterized by being lightweight and waterproof. The lenses used (made from polycarbonate) provide UV-400 protection (Category 3) and are polarized, meaning they reduce glare, optical strain, and offer better contrast.
