The beanie is made from 100% merino wool on the outside, which keeps your head at the right temperature while effectively regulating excess moisture. On the inside, Ortovox uses the proven Merino Fleece Light Grit material: thanks to the merino wool and the channel structure on the inside, the material is particularly lightweight and pleasant against the skin. At the same time, the knitted construction provides optimal ventilation during strenuous ascents and sufficient insulation against wind and cold.

Material: Merino wool. Since 1995, merino wool has been an integral part of Ortovox's mountain wear. Wool is naturally ecological and therefore particularly sustainable. The merino wool comes from happy sheep raised in controlled, species-appropriate conditions in Tasmania, which are regularly monitored. Due to its fine fiber diameter, merino wool is extremely soft and comfortable against the skin. It ensures an optimal body climate as it regulates moisture and temperature, and also neutralizes unpleasant odors.
