The ski touring backpack is equipped with the Avabag airbag system developed by Ortovox: This avalanche airbag system is remarkably compact, removable, and can be easily triggered repeatedly without a screwed-in cartridge. This allows for practice releases, enabling quick and correct reactions in case of an emergency. However, a ski touring backpack must not only be functional but also comfortable, which is especially important on long tours. The Ascent 30 features a cushioned 3D back system that is both lightweight and stable, ensuring high carrying comfort.
