Ortovox ASCENT 22

The ski touring backpacks are getting an upgrade: The ultralight and technical Ascent 22 is perfect for demanding days in the mountains. That's why Ortovox focused on the essentials and thoughtfully designed every detail. Made from 100D Robic Ripstop nylon, the backpack is extremely lightweight yet abrasion-resistant. Despite the reduction in weight, Ortovox has naturally prioritized high carrying comfort: The cushioned 3D back system evenly distributes the load between the hip fins and the lightly padded shoulder straps. Features such as the all-around zipper for quick access to gear, a map pocket, hydration system preparation, as well as diagonal ski fixation, ice axe holder, and rope attachment make the backpack what it is: a technical, ultralight backpack for demanding ski tours. Additionally, the Ascent 22 comes with the Ortovox emergency card: In case of an emergency, the card provides information about the injured person, enabling faster and more efficient treatment.
