Product details
The Nike Free Run Trail Happy Pineapple is a rugged runner crafted from a minimum of 20% recycled material by weight. This construction, combined with the pineapple theme, makes this pair of shoes truly refreshing. The upper of the Happy Pineapple Nike Free Run Trail features a base of bright lime mesh encased in coconut milk-colored suede dotted with large diamond perforations that mimic the texture of a pineapple. The bright lime-green mesh is exposed at the heel counter, and the bright lime-green suede is used for the side-panel Nike Swoosh. The plastic and webbing eyestays are also refreshing lime, as are the tongue lining and sock liner. The insole is cork to enhance comfort and is emblazoned with a Nike pinwheel Swoosh logo. The pull loop at the heel matches the tan-speckled foam midsole that offers soft landings and springy takeoffs. The brown-speckled rubber outsole features horizontal grooves and waffle lugs for absorbing shock and providing grip. Our favorite detail on this sneaker is the smiling pineapple graphic that adorns each tongue. The Nike Free Run Trail Happy Pineapple was released on June 17, 2021, for $110 retail.
