The 9060 is a new expression of refined style and innovative design, making some models from the 99X series among the most iconic in New Balance's history. The 9060 reinterprets familiar elements of the classic 99X models, drawing inspiration from the futuristic, visually striking tech aesthetic of the Y2K era. The Sway Bars, borrowed from the 990, are extended and used throughout the upper to convey visible movement, while the wavy lines and reduced proportions on the molded Pod midsole highlight the familiar cushioning systems of ABZORB and SBS.
