The hats by Olaf are knitted from 100% merino wool in North Germany, just a 10-hour train ride from Zurich. After removing the labels and sewing threads, the hats are 100% biodegradable. Olaf operates one of the few traditional knitting companies in Germany. The business was founded in 1956 and has been family-owned ever since. The models Nebel, Kiel, and Elbe are inspired by the North and Baltic Seas and feature a timeless design. Merino wool is naturally breathable, making it the perfect companion for adventurers or urban nomads. These hats are shipped by individuals with primarily cognitive impairments in collaboration with the Züriwerk Foundation.
