Our hand-knitted wool hats are made from pure sheep wool without any additives. The sheep roam with shepherds and graze in the Serra da Estrela. We have individually inspected and tested each strand of wool. We selected the highest quality wool, which has been processed gently without chemical additives and may therefore contain straw remnants. However, we have manually removed most of the remnants with tweezers. The wool is, of course, mulesing-free.

This hat was knitted by Isabel in the Caritas workshop in Coimbra. We place great importance on a friendly working environment and fair payment for the workers. The employees take great pride in being able to produce something of market value, as they have often been excluded from the workforce for years.
