100% natural, handmade, and fairly paid. Our hand-knitted wool hats are made from pure sheep wool without any additives. The sheep are herded and graze in the Alentejo province in southern Portugal. We have individually inspected and tested each wool thread. We have chosen wool of the highest quality. It has been processed gently without chemical additives and may therefore contain straw remnants. However, we have manually removed most of the remnants with tweezers. This hat was knitted by Claudia in the Caritas workshop in Coimbra. We place great importance on a friendly approach and fair payment for the workers. The employees take great pride in being able to produce something with market value, as they have often been excluded from the workforce for years.
