With the AustriAlpin D-Ring Cobra and a specially designed seam pattern that can absorb forces from all directions, the Jed Belt Hybrid MGS has several notable attributes:

  • Original D-Ring Cobra buckle, 7075 CNC milled safety buckle, breaking load 18kN with linear load, 36kN in the ring.
  • D-ring in matte black integrated into the buckle.
  • No one-sided opening possible; both buckles must always be operated.
  • No opening under load; the buckle can only be opened when unloaded.
  • Class 7a safety webbing with a breaking load of 2700kg, manufactured in accordance with MIL-W-4088.
  • Webbing is double-layered and treated with resin to achieve a good balance between strength and comfort.
  • High-strength special yarn made in Germany.
  • The overlaps are rolled up, and the outer side is made of Cordura laminate based on Bundeswehr TL PALS+/Molle compatible.
  • The inside is fully hook and loop; Molle pouches should be more than 3 Molle gaps high for optimal security to the belt.

The Jed Belt Hybrid MGS achieves the following certifications:

  • In combination with our modular belt MGS or comparable: EN358 harness.
  • In combination with our leg loops MGS: EN12277 TYPE C sit harness (climbing harness).
  • In combination with our chest harness MGS: EN12277 TYPE A full body harness and EN361 harness.

  • G5: 100cm-110cm
  • G6: 105cm-115cm
  • G7: 110cm-120cm
  • >120cm.
