Kimood K-Loop

Large, sustainable bag made from recycled cotton and recycled polyester. Rectangular shape that keeps everything in place without crushing items. This bag is part of the "K-loop" project. Recycled cotton and polyester. Large rectangular shopping bag with handles made from the same material as the bag. With this project, Kimood closes the loop of the circular economy in a more specific sense. The cotton used comes from waste generated during the production of cotton items by the brand Kariban and the Kariban Brands product line. The added polyester comes from the recycling of PET plastic bottles.

During the recycling process, tracers are added to the yarn, which means viscose and ceramic filaments that serve as a unique digital imprint. The tracers reflect light in a unique way and therefore carry a distinct and unchangeable code. This allows us to uniquely store all information about the processes the yarn has undergone in a blockchain. Using Aware™ Tracer technology and the corresponding blockchain platform, Kimood enables the end consumer to trace the entire production process. This ensures that the product has indeed been recycled using its own waste and without any potential changes to the process. A special label with a QR code provides access to the Aware™ platform and allows for direct authentication of certifications via a simple smartphone.
