Kimood K-loop Project

The "K-loop" project by Kariban Brands is part of a strict circular economy approach. It offers optimal traceability to the end consumer thanks to the blockchain tracker integrated into the yarn. The product has its own digital Aware™ pass. It is made of 73% recycled cotton, 25% recycled polyester, and 2% other fibers. This shopping bag is part of the "K-loop" project, which closes the loop of the circular economy in a more specific sense. The cotton used comes from the scraps generated during the production of cotton clothing from the brands within the Kariban Brands family. The added polyester is sourced from recycled plastic bottles. The Aware™ tracer is added to the eco-friendly raw materials as a unique fingerprint. At the same time, a "Digital Twin" (virtual representation) of the same material is created on the Aware™ platform and registered in the public blockchain, allowing all product information, energy savings, social respect, etc., to be stored. Thus, the "Digital Twin" ensures the traceability of the material. In the end, each product has a digital pass containing all the true data about its environmental impact. With K-loop by Kimood, the circle of the circular economy is completed.
