DriDefense is a specially developed membrane – a bootie – that is suspended like a sock between the lining and the outer material. It makes the product waterproof, transports moisture outwards, and simultaneously prevents moisture from entering the boot.

Thinsulate traps air molecules close to the body. The more air a material retains in a given space, the higher its insulation value. The microfibers in Thinsulate insulation are much finer than other fibers, allowing them to "capture" more air in less space, thus providing better insulation.
