Radio Frequency Identification, or RFID for short, is a technology for retrieving data stored on a special chip via radio. Such RFID chips are used in the new identity card, in EC and credit cards, and sometimes also in smartphones, and enable, for example, cashless payment without signature or PIN entry. Thanks to a coating on the card or mobile phone compartment that is impermeable to radio waves, this product protects your data from unauthorised reading by third parties.
