Alto Hat is made from a fabric called Woolly Treemerino, a Swedish-made warm, stretchy, and lightweight material composed of 60% merino wool and 40% Tencel. Merino wool provides natural warmth, while Tencel, made from cellulose, gives the fabric structure and enhances moisture transmission. Thanks to the functional materials in Alto Hat, it is suitable for outdoor sports like skiing or ice skating, as well as for everyday warmth.

We never blend natural and synthetic fibers, resulting in a hat that is both biodegradable and recyclable. We believe that the resources we use are borrowed from nature, and it is our responsibility to ensure they can be returned. The raw materials are valuable and can be reused through recycling or composting. You can bring it back to a Houdini shop or one of our retailers that has a Houdini recycling unit.
