VaporSpan Carrying System: VaporSpan is the future technology for ventilated daypacks, providing an improvement in comfort and load transfer that makes other carrying constructions of the back section unnecessary. An ultra-soft padding conforms to the lower back, while the flatly shaped back panel allows for unobstructed air circulation at the mid and upper back. The EVAP moisture-wicking technology offers the construction advantage of a back panel with a tensioned spacer mesh, transporting moisture to the back of the mesh so that it evaporates faster, resulting in a noticeably cooler back during your hike.
