These nostalgic nylon stockings with extra high heels are produced on traditional cotton machines. The brand GIO from England is one of the few remaining manufacturers of these timeless nylons, which are knitted just like in the 1950s and finished with careful handwork.
The typical features of genuine nylon stockings are:
Genuine nylons are made from 100% nylon; they are non-elastic, meaning they have very little stretch.
The seam runs from the toe of the stocking to the fold point of the double welt.
There is always a finishing hole in the double welt.
