The 40th Anniversary G-Shock Flare Red models - two limited timepieces in fiery red to celebrate the 40th birthday of the first G-Shock, which was launched in 1983. Inspired by the intensity of a solar eruption: The MTG-B3000FR and GWG-2000FR models feature the characteristic G-Shock colors of black and red and incorporate the latest technologies from Casio. A multicolored bezel with carbon inserts, made from layers of carbon and fiberglass plates with phosphorescent particles, evokes the explosive power of the sun and creates an extraordinary design that glows in the dark. The bezel components, each with unique and individual patterns - none repeating - result in incomparable, lightweight yet robust watches. The bezel design of the GWG-2000 even consists of forged carbon fibers with phosphorescent particles, perfectly complementing the bezel with glowing solar eruption patterns. Both models feature a special logo designed by Eric Haze for G-Shock's 40th anniversary, which is engraved on the case back.
