Product details
To activate the backlight of the watch, a slight twist of the wrist is enough. This works as soon as the brightness in the environment decreases. The watch takes a lot of abuse without taking any damage. The shock-resistant case offers protection in case of impact and shocks. Independent and environmentally friendly, solar cells provide power for the watch. Surplus solar energy is stored in a rechargeable battery. Whether in Europe, North America, Japan, or in large parts of Canada, Central America, and China, once the watch is set to the local time zone, it receives the corresponding radio signal and always displays the exact time. In many countries, it also independently sets summer and winter time. The hands and/or index are fluorescent coated and glow in the dark when the watch has been exposed to a light source. The world time function displays the times in up to 29 different time zones. Elapsed time, split time, and final time are measured with an accuracy of hundredths of a second. The measurement capacity of the watch is up to one hour. The zero count alarm (timer) emits a signal after a set time has elapsed. The measuring capacity of the clock reaches up to 100 minutes and can be set in second intervals. Daily recurring events are reminded by the daily alarm, where an acoustic signal sounds at the set time. This model has five independent alarms, particularly practical for taking medication every day or keeping regular appointments. If desired, the key tones can be switched off with the mode button. After switching off, there is no longer a beep when switching from one function to the next. Set alarms or countdown timers are still active after the key tones are switched off. At the push of a button, the hands release the view of the digital displays, so that the stop function or day of the week can be read without restriction.
