The label Flamingos Life was founded in 2015. Their goal is to keep the ecological footprint as low as possible. The Flamingos Life sneakers are produced in small workshops in Spain, within a 40 km radius of Elche, as well as in select models in Portugal. A lot of effort has been put into developing sustainable and resource-saving materials. The upper material of the Burela Bold sneakers is made from Corn Waste. Corn Waste is processed from corn byproducts from the harvest. This is a sustainable alternative to using leather. The material used by Flamingos Life closely resembles the look and feel of leather but is 100% vegan. The removable insole made from recycled materials, covered with bamboo and cotton, provides excellent comfort throughout the day. The outsole is made from natural rubber.
