Fjällräven Kånken No. 3

Straight backs are healthy backs. Kånken No. 2 is made from durable, double-waxed G-1000 Heavy Duty and features a back pocket made of G-1000 Lite. Just like the classic Kånken, this robust, practical model is equally suitable for school, work, outings, and travel. The large opening makes it easy to pack the main compartment. Inside the back pocket, there is a seat cushion made of G-1000 Heavy Duty, allowing for comfortable sitting during breaks. It has two open side pockets and a zippered pocket on the front. Details and handles are made of leather, and the shoulder straps are made of textile material. The material can be easily reproofed with Greenland Wax to extend its lifespan.

G-1000 Heavy Duty is robust, but G-1000 Heavy Duty takes it a step further. It is impregnated on both sides with Greenland Wax, making it more durable than ever before. However, since it is less breathable than the original G-1000, Fjällräven uses it for products where durability is more important than breathability. For example, as reinforcement material in areas that are particularly stressed, and for many other bags and backpacks.
