Fjällräven Helags Cap

Classic cap made from water- and wind-resistant G-1000 Original. G-1000 Original is a durable and adaptable material from Fjällräven. The dense fabric is wind- and water-repellent and very robust, yet extremely breathable and quick-drying. G-1000 is made from a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, which is treated with a thin layer of Greenland wax. The wax provides the material with additional protection against dirt, wind, and moisture and can be easily applied thicker or washed out as needed. Besides protecting against wind and weather, G-1000 also shields against harmful sun rays and annoying insect bites.

It is good to know that fluorocarbons are harmful to living beings and the environment. Most of Fjällräven's water- and down-resistant products are 100% fluorocarbon-free. To maintain the waterproof performance, Fjällräven recommends regularly spraying the products with fluorocarbon-free impregnation spray.
