For FALKE No. 9 Pure Fil d'Écosse, only "Karnak" cotton from the Egyptian Nile Delta is used. After being unfolded under the southern sun, the fibers and seeds are painstakingly combed out of the cotton fluff to create a product of pure purity and softness. Italian spinning mills produce a yarn from the extra-long fibers that is double-twisted, offering exceptional strength and high durability. Through the additional finishing process of mercerization, Fil d'Écosse acquires its silky sheen and unique color intensity. FALKE Pure Fil d'Écosse is available in a diverse range of colors, both in smooth knit and ribbed designs.
