The Mongolian cashmere goat is native to the high mountains of the Himalayas. Despite the prevailing harsh and icy climate, it is provided with natural warmth by its fluffy fine undercoat. Each cashmere goat produces only 150 to 200 grams of the precious down each year, which is hand-combed from its fur. In Italy, these delicate fibers are spun into wonderfully soft cashmere yarn, from which FALKE No. 2 Finest Cashmere is made. The special quality of the yarn impresses with outstanding natural thermal insulation at a low weight and gives colors a unique radiance. Furthermore, the extremely high softness and smoothness of cashmere are hard to surpass by any other natural fiber.
Elegant and warming Mongolian cashmere. Pleasantly light wearing sensation. Unique radiance of colors. Hand-linked and shaped. Optimal durability thanks to reinforced stress zones. Perfect FALKE fit.
Bleaching is not allowed. Wool wash cycle at 30°C. Tumble drying is not possible. Ironing is not allowed.
