The umbrella can be positioned to the left or right depending on the wind direction using two included rotating clips that attach to the front of the backpack's shoulder straps with a nylon Velcro strap. The carrying loop fixed to the umbrella handle serves as a flexible attachment to the hip belt. Weighing just 366 grams, the umbrella can also be used as a regular hiking umbrella. Maximum carrying comfort is provided by a pleasantly soft grip made of user-friendly high-density foam. With a diameter of 114 cm, it is large enough to reliably protect both the hiker and the backpack from rain.
