The open/close mechanism is built with a highly resilient frame made of hardened aluminum/metal profile shaft, with additional frame parts made of fiberglass, anodized aluminum, and fiberglass-polyamide; all frame components are highly elastic, corrosion-resistant, and rot-proof. The handle is made of user-friendly high-density EVA foam with an integrated compass. Each umbrella comes with a sturdy nylon cover featuring a polyester mesh insert and a fastening loop for carrying on a backpack or belt, as well as an aluminum carabiner for an alternative attachment. The EVA foam top provides additional abrasion protection for the canopy, for those who prefer to leave the protective cover at home.
