Ergon schickt einen Rückenprotektor mit (optionalem) Trinksystem und minimalistischem Stauraum. Die beiden Taschen am Rücken sind klein und in der Bedienung sehr friemelig. Der Tragekomfort und Sitz sind durch den breiten Hüftgurt aber gut. Trotz hohem Gewicht stört der BP1 auf dem Trail nicht.
