The insole supports the natural shape of the transverse arch of the foot and prevents its lowering, also known as flatfoot. The longitudinal arch support aids the ankle joints and prevents the sinking of the longitudinal arch of the foot, referred to as fallen arch. The leather surface absorbs moisture that occurs in the shoe and reduces any potential foot burning.
