The Active Comfort footbed is designed to be slip-resistant through adhesive fixation, relieving and supporting the feet while relaxing muscles, tendons, and ligaments. The insole supports the natural shape of the transverse arch of the foot and helps prevent a lowering of the arch, also known as flatfoot. The longitudinal arch support aids the ankle joints and prevents the sinking of the longitudinal arch of the foot, referred to as fallen arch. The leather surface absorbs moisture that occurs in the shoe and reduces the possibility of foot burning.
