Changemaker Seidenfoulard Shades

Our self-created Changemaker scarves are handcrafted. Care: Hand wash. Our producer, Manjeen Handicrafts, began supporting a group of 5-8 young women in the neighboring slum areas by providing them with design and market trends as well as training in jewelry making. In 2000, the company formally started working on the principles of fair trade to provide an effective support system for underprivileged artisans in the unorganized craft production sector in and around Delhi. They view their connection with fair trade as an opportunity to serve the artisans and their community, incorporating just and fair trade into the process of eliminating poverty and exploitation to improve the quality of life for the artisans.
