In 2000, the company formally started working on the principles of fair trade to provide an effective support system for underprivileged artisans in the unorganized craft production sector in and around Delhi. They view their connection with fair trade as an opportunity to serve the artisans and their community, incorporating just and fair trade into the process of eradicating poverty and exploitation to improve the artisans' quality of life.
