With this limited collaboration model, we celebrate the 40th anniversary of G-Shock. The design and logo were created by none other than graffiti legend Eric Haze. The starting point was the GMW-B5000, the all-metal original version of the first G-SHOCK, the DW-5000C, which was designed by Eric Haze himself. The stainless steel bracelet features a black ion plating with Haze's original graphics in laser-engraved dot patterns. The combination of dots in varying sizes creates the impression of color shading. The case back, secured with a screw lock and coated with diamond-like carbon (DLC), displays the anniversary logo designed by Haze. When the light button is pressed, a graffiti tag by Haze becomes visible. In addition to the watch, the packaging also received a unique design in the style of the collaboration.
