The frequency of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism highlights the necessity of physical thrombosis prophylaxis. Comprinet Pro meets all scientific requirements for an anatomically shaped thrombosis prophylaxis stocking. The compression pressure in the ankle area is approximately 18 mmHg and decreases linearly from distal to proximal. Comprinet Pro can be washed up to 10 times without compromising the pressure profile, following specific washing recommendations. It is available in two lengths and three widths (thigh circumferences up to 86 cm), as well as two special sizes (thigh circumferences up to 90 cm) and additionally in knee length. Comprinet Pro is seamlessly knitted in the round. The stocking is equipped with a sewn-in label that displays the size in a wash-resistant print, and it also features an individual barcode and a pattern field for washing documentation. Easy size identification is facilitated by the color coding at the toe viewing window on the top of the foot. Comprinet Pro thigh-length is made of 77% polyamide, 19% elastane, and 4% neoprene, and is reusable up to 10 times. Comprinet Pro knee-length is made of 80% polyamide and 20% elastane and is also reusable up to 10 times.
