On the inside of the ball, there is a mini xylophone over which a small ball rolls when moved. This creates a special sound effect. From around 20 weeks of age, a baby in the womb can hear this sound. By regularly wearing the ball on the lower abdomen, the baby becomes accustomed to this sound and will find it soothing both before and after birth.
