Toeffler - this is the name of the sturdy-rustic wooden clogs with nailed shafts by Berkemann. Their origin dates back to the 1970s, and they have been continuously available in various versions in the Berkemann range since then. The velour Toeffler shown here presents this Berkemann model in its classic Toeffler shape with a velvety touch. The velour leather used gives this clog a robust yet soft appearance, embodying the original 70s feeling like no other leather. This Toeffler variant also features the typical Berkemann original 5-phase footbed, integrated into the lightweight poplar wood sole, which supports the natural rolling motion of the foot. The toe grip function stimulated by this special footbed trains both the foot and calf muscles with every step, simultaneously activating the venous valves. Additionally, the shock-absorbing midsole reduces impact energy all the way up to the spine.
