The Japan S shoes originally debuted in 1981. They are now back and available as Japan S GS (Grade School) in children's sizes. This newly designed generation features a flatter silhouette, complemented by a toe area inspired by field sports and retro color lines. The shoe has been updated with a lightweight design that includes a modified cup sole construction, providing superior comfort and improved cushioning. This children's shoe mimics the aesthetic of a retro basketball sneaker and stands out with nostalgic ASICS branding, such as the tiger stripes on the quarter panels and the ASICS logo on the heel.
