Proponents of Eastern meditation philosophies regard tiger's eye as a stone of strength. It is believed to connect with the third eye and root chakras, providing grounding and balancing effects. It is also thought to purify the mind of the person meditating with it. Due to the natural origin of the tiger's eye beads we use, slight variations in color and pattern may occur.

Lava stone or basalt is also said to influence the root chakra by attracting positive vibrations and filtering out negative ones.

However, the true strength of lava stone lies in its ability to function as a portable aromatherapy device. Simply add a few drops of essential oils to the beads, which then penetrate the pores and coat them from the inside. Throughout the day, they will release the fragrance as the oil slowly evaporates.

The 8 mm beads of this bracelet are strung on a strong black nylon cord and secured with a gold-colored braided clasp.

The trick to closing this clasp is to pinch one of the end beads between the base of your thumb and your pinky or ring finger, while pulling on the other end with your free hand to tighten the bracelet around your wrist.
