Hematite gets its name from 'haima', the Greek word for blood. The stone is associated with Mars, the Roman god of war. In Eastern philosophy, it is believed that hematite centers its wearer, grounds their root chakra in the earth, and brings balance to their life.

The heavy 8 mm beads are strung on a strong nylon cord and are fully equipped with a braided clasp.

If you are not familiar with this type of braided clasp, the trick to tightening it is to place one end at the base of your thumb and hold it with your pinky or ring finger. With your free hand, pull on the other end to secure the bracelet around your wrist.
