The deep blue hue of lapis lazuli has been valued since ancient times. It was used to create ornaments and amulets and even ground to produce the pigment ultramarine. The Girl with a Pearl Earring would not look as special without this striking color. And when you look at the famous death mask of the ancient Egyptian king Tutankhamun, you will recognize the prominent blue stripes - blue lapis lazuli.

The stone, with its deep sky blue and sparkling golden flecks, is often compared to the night sky filled with bright stars. This braided bracelet draws on another symbol of nature, namely the rough sea and its tumultuous waves. The stone is unpolished and shaped into a cube, quite different from the conventional round and smooth beads. Since they are made from natural stone, each bead is unique, with its own shade and marbling.

The blue gradient is interrupted by silver-colored beads made of surgical stainless steel, which have been hammered for a rough texture, reminiscent of bright white sea foam.

The sturdy black nylon is secured with a braided clasp featuring the Arkai logo. The clasp is easy to adjust: simply place one end on your palm and hold it with your middle finger. With your free hand, pull the other end as tightly as you wish.
