Alessi Fiato sul collo necklace

Jewellery made of fragments of light and shadow.

The successful "La Stanza dello Scirocco" series of 2009 and 2010 now continues this design theme with a new type of object that is as surprising as it is personal - the "Fiato sul collo" necklace and the "Alisei" earrings.
The pieces of jewellery consist of an ensemble of rectangular metal plates that are held together by tiny particles of material. The result is the impression of flying cards whose reflections and shadow play create interesting effects on the skin and in their surroundings. For the necklace, Trimarchi reduced and refined the dimensions of the platelets so that the proportions correspond to the new purpose. The metal components, despite their angular shape and reflective surfaces, create a pleasant contrast with the softness and colour of the skin.
"Fiato sul collo" and "Alisei" are made of polished stainless steel. "Alisei" are earrings for ordinary pierced.
